Kota Pro is a professional-grade, heat-activated adhesive. The patch arrives with adhesive pre-applied but not sticky, giving you full control during placement. Position the patch on your fabric, apply heat, and the adhesive activates to form a permanent bond. No sewing or additional glues required.
Kota Pro adhesive is engineered to create a permanent bond on high-contact surfaces. The faux leather material is designed to withstand repeated wear, flexing, and movement. Durability depends on proper heat activation and the care standards you follow for the garment.
You can decorate up to 4 linear inches on the patch surface. Laser engraving works best with solid designs, bold lettering, and high-contrast artwork in black or grayscale. Full-color photos, gradients, and very fine thin lines are not suitable—laser engraving removes material to create dark marks on the teal faux leather.
Yes, if your logo is a solid design, text, or line art in black. Vector files (PDF, AI, EPS) are preferred for crisp edges; raster files (PNG, JPG) work at 300+ DPI. If your logo includes multiple colors or fine gradients, you'll need to convert it to a single-color laser-friendly version.
Each patch is 3" wide × 2" tall × 1/16" thick. Your decoration area is up to 4 linear inches—enough for logos, text, or combination designs. When you upload your file, you'll see a preview showing exactly where the laser mark will appear before approval.
