Kota Pro is heat-activated, so it remains non-sticky until heat is applied. This gives you time to position the patch exactly where you want it on the garment. Once you apply heat using an iron or heat press, the adhesive bonds permanently to the fabric, creating an extremely strong connection.
Laser engraving creates the best results with solid fills, bold lines, and clear text. High contrast between engraved and non-engraved areas produces the sharpest appearance. Avoid fine details, thin lines, and multi-color gradients, which don't translate well to the engraving process.
Laser engraving produces a single-color etched effect rather than color printing. Your design will be engraved into the patch surface, creating contrast with the base color (Black/Gold or Rustic/Gold). You cannot add white ink or multiple printed colors with this decoration method.
Position the patch where you want it on your garment, then apply heat using an iron, heat press, or heat gun. The Kota Pro adhesive activates under heat and bonds the patch permanently to the fabric. Allow the patch to cool before wearing or laundering the item.
Each case contains 25 patches. This is the standard case quantity for this product.
All patches are 3 1/2" long × 2 1/2" tall. They are available in two color options: Black/Gold and Rustic/Gold, each providing a distinct look while maintaining identical dimensions and decoration specifications.
