Sublimation fuses dye directly into polyester, enabling smooth color gradients, fine details, and photographic imagery that embroidery cannot replicate. Embroidery excels at bold, solid-color designs but has limitations with thin lines, photo-style artwork, and complex color transitions. This patch uses sublimation when detail and color fidelity matter most.
The safe design area is 2.5" × 2.5", leaving 0.25" for the adhesive border and black stitching. Position all critical artwork and text within this inner square. The outer 0.25" edge will be occupied by the border.
The patch has pressure-sensitive adhesive designed for application to fabric and smooth surfaces. Durability depends on the surface material and use conditions—flexing, washing, or extreme temperatures may affect longevity. Test on a sample of your target surface first, especially for items that will be washed frequently.

The adhesive works well on fabric (cotton, polyester blends, canvas) and smooth hard surfaces like plastic or wood. For garments, the polyester material is designed to move and flex with the fabric. If your application surface is textured, curved, or unusual, test a patch first to confirm adhesive compatibility.
